Grand opening of new the new Facilities of IISS

On Monday 22nd of November 2010 the IISS officially opened its new facilities hosting 30 researchers and high-tech laboratories for sensor development, clocksynchronisation and networking. High representatives of the Austria Academy of Sciences, the county of Lower Austria and many national and international scientists participated in the short symposium and the opening of the new facilities.

The day started with a press conference on the leading work and the institutes aim to transfer its innovation to industry in the morning. Then speakers from industry and academy presented interesting trends and topics in the area of sensor design. Finally, the day was closed by open house in the facilities and intensive talks between the participants.
